Summer is our busiest season. Visitors come from all over to see our beautiful forest, lake, and wild life. Outdoor enthusiasts are kept busy from the crack of dawn, gaining a second outlook on the world. In Canada, our summer days are extremely long, offering lots of time to take many adventures. When the sun finally sets, you'll see why our area is justifiably called Sunset Country. Many people return to Big Pine Lake Camp in Autumn to watch the leaves change color. If you are coming in the fall, be sure to bring your camera. You'll never see anything like it. |

If you have never seen snow, come visit Big Pine Lake Camp during the winter months; it phenomenal. You would hardly recognize the Camp from the summer if you were to visit this time of year. The contrast of the evergreen trees against the white, snow covered lake and bight blue sky is absolutely incredible. Be sure to bring a jacket or two though. There's nothing like the experience of ice fishing.

As the snow and ice melts a new year begins. Many love to visit during this beautiful season. Everything comes alive in the Spring, and after 4 months of snow, this is a dramatic transition.
Whenever you plan to visit don't forget to check out the weather before you come so you know how to pack. Check out www.theweathernetwork.com for Nestor Falls.
The trees begin to bud, the waterfall begins to flow, and everything becomes a whole lot greener. If you've never witnessed this kind of experience, you really must. |
